Instructor - Richard Herndon

Richard has been training at Phoenix Martial Arts for over 8 years, and in that time has trained very consistently to become one of the senior Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu students/instructors at PMAA.  A dedicated student who manages to balance his training with his work (Richard is a High School Teacher) and family life, Richard brings a very positive energy to the school.  His accomplishments include:

Jing Mo Kuen - 2nd Degree Black Belt
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu - Brown Belt - Instructor
Wing Chun - Red Belt
Kali - Purple Belt

Richard is a senior instructor of the Jing Mo Kuen (JKD) class, as well as the Instructor of our MMA Program.
